The Chiara is designed to be a good modern complement for your relaxing area. It works as good at the common area in a hotel as in the lobby of an office. The design and shape of it is simple and classy so it is easy to fit in with many kinds of interiors.

Being made out of only one single sheet of plywood gives it a very special and intriguing look, at the same time that it is easy and cheap to manufacture. The combination between the wood and the steel also helps making it a timeless piece.

This is an isolated render of the chair.

The main materials I wanted to use for this design are: bent laminated beech wood and steel for the back legs, welded in the joints, and attached with screws to the chair

The model was made in scale 1:4. I used vegetable cardboard as a replacement for the wood.

The cardboard was soaked and shaped with a 3D printed mold, then left to dry for 24 hours. Steel rods were added as legs.
